ART FROM THE HEART 2014
Young Artists
Updated as of 03/20/14

"If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint." -Edward Hopper

Below are pictures of artwork created by youth in our Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment program. Art class is only one part of the program; however, we believe that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps youth resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness, and achieve insight.

To read more about the artist's story, how he or she came to Dallas Challenge, or to pre-bid on any of these pieces, go to Jones Walker Home, where the art will be displayed until the event.
